Gurney Transport
- Transporting the patient from their bed to their intended destination
- At least two providers are sent out to safely transport gurney patients into and out of the vehicle. Depending on weight or condition of patient, more providers may be necessary.
- Gurney transport is catered to patients with limited mobility who are bed-bound or require a stretcher to be moved. Patients remain on the stretcher the entire time with the flexibility to sit up or remain lying down. The use of specialized equipment keeps patients safely secured in the vehicle without having to relocate them to a standard seat, which may be uncomfortable, risky, or physically impossible.
Motorized Stair Climber Wheelchair Transport
- PNR offers an electric/battery powered stair chair which is designed to aid in transporting individuals safely and easily from a multi-leveled building.
- PNR utilizes a motorized stair chair versus the manual two-attendant assist/carry since it is much safer to move an individual up and down a flight of stairs this way.
- A capacity of up to 350lbs. is easily carried down the stairs by an easy glide track system.
Reclining Wheelchair Transport
- Whether it's a long or a short distance trip, being comfortable is something you should not have to compromise.
- PNR offers a wheelchair that can fully recline, and leg rests can be raised. This is ideal for individuals who may need to change positions frequently or need to lie back for medical reasons.
- Reclining wheelchairs are designed to allow the passenger to recline comfortably at incremental angle positions. These types of wheelchairs offer a change in positioning, allowing the passenger to adjust according to their preference.

PNR Transport utilizes professionally converted and ADA compliant vans that can accommodate any wheelchair size. Our vans are also equipped with a Q-Straint Wheelchair Securement System which provides the ultimate wheelchair and gurney passenger safety solution. They are maintained regularly and sanitized after each trip.
Our Courteous and Caring Drivers
Real success for PNR Transport means having your trust and confidence in us. We value your peace of mind and want to give you a guarantee that all our drivers undergo a thorough screening process. PNR's standard requirements for hiring a driver are the following:
- Must undergo training in wheelchair and gurney passenger loading
- Must pass a CPR, First Aid and AED certification through Red Cross
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must undergo defensive driving training
- Must undergo a DOJ and FBI background check via live scan
- Must undergo National Sex Offenders Registry Screening
- Must pass employment drug and alcohol screenings
- Must undergo nasal/oral swab COVID-19 testing on a monthly basis, and as needed basis
